THEE FIRM ANTI - BULLYING PROGRAM A DIVISION OF THE   BLAKE FOUNDATION

To help combat bullying that leads to violent and or sudden death.

To help combat bullying that leads to violent and other disputes within communities.

 

Bullying causes a number of social, physical and mental health problems. Compared to children who do not report involvement in bullying problems:

  • Children who are bullied suffer more headaches, stomach aches, depression and anxiety. Mental health problems associated with bullying tend to last until later in life.
  • Children who bully, and those who are bullied, are at greater risk of suicide.
  • Children who bully, and those who are bullied, will be more likely to miss school, show little interest in their studies and suffer poor grades.
  • Children who bully are more likely to use drugs and alcohol and engage in criminal activity. According to one of the world’s leading researchers on bullying, 60% of boys who frequently bullied others in elementary school had criminal records by age 24.

Thee Firm focus are the popluation of Identifying Children At Risk of being Bullied. Our program begins in June and ends the first week of September.

 

Programs receives the funds necessary to run a 90 day  Children At Risk of being Bullied Program. Funds can be used for - 

 

   1.4%   Adminstrative fees

   8%      Direct Service / Activities

   .6%    Supplys and or Snacks and Soft Drinks or a combination of both.

 

Programs reports to this site to input their programs' activies records. All successful programs are most likely to recieves funds next year. Programs must be a recogized state approved summer program. If your program are approved you will be contacted by the information that you have provided.

 

As funds becomes available your program will recieves notification of Open Grant/s. Please apply as soon as you receive your notification of available funds. As these grants can fill up with applicants fast. Five to Twenty programs may be approved a year and that's if we recieve any funds for that specific year. However, we'll make it available to you.

 

All Request for 2020 Summer Service Formula Grant are conducted online and must be in the Office of The Notary Commission no later than 12 noon on 06/30/2020.
